Day 3 of the drawing adventure included stacking halos [clementines? tiny oranges?] in a mound and sketching them out. This was done atop my kitchen table and included a Guillermo Cuellar yunomi in the background. The cup proved the most difficult, along with trying to add highlights of white on top of the thick orange layer. There are so many colors to see from the reflected light. Oranges are not just orange when looking in the shadows, highlights, and side surfaces. I am loving these oil pastels for their spontaneity and ease of use.
